IoT in Dissolved Air Flotation – Dewborn

A FEW WORDS ABOUT WHAT DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION IS
In the settling process of wastewater treatment, water is purified by settling particles in the wastewater. However, contaminants whose specific gravity is lower than water are made to be floated to the water surface rather than settled down in order to be separated from the water. Also, the treatment method to float contaminants which have low specific gravity by pressurizing air is called dissolved air flotation. Tiny bubbles of air are generated in wastewater and they are mixed with wastewater containing contaminants with lower specific gravity than water. After the tiny bubbles catch and enclose the contaminants, they rise to the surface using their buoyancy. In this way, contaminants are removed from wastewater.
