Summer Make Tips for
making most of your eyes, skin and lips | |
| The Eyes Have It | | Try colored mascara on its own with no shadow or liner, and just a dusting of pearly powder on the eyelid. If you're stuck on shadow, use earth tones and avoid elaborate shading. Don't make yourself up like you're going to the office. | | | Sunny Smile | | For the lips (and elsewhere), don't go too orange or too bronze: it's tempting but these colors accentuate the skin's yellow undertones, which hardens the face. Even if you're not a 'pink' person, try to hedge more toward these colors. Forget matte and powdery lipsticks and go for gloss, in transparent, pink or fruity colors. If you love matte, try lip crayons for a more natural finish. Sparkle glosses in golden tones are great for accenting lips and cheeks. See LIPS | | Peachy Skin | | Think appetizing skin: opt for a dusting of translucent powder in light caramel and sheer summer fruit tones (peach, apricot, banana...). For evening, remember: tanned skin still shines (just look at any photograph)! Don't forget to powder your nose (there are good ones in every color and at every price)! You'll get your best color in the early morning or late afternoon (around 5pm) - don't bake all day! | | |
